Super Bowl 2010: Colts vs. Saints

So, it's official the Super Bowl will be the Indianapolis Colts vs. the New Orleans Saints.

I'll be rooting for the Saints.

Still pretty disappointed that the Chargers are not in the Super Bowl this year but I am confident that our time will come.

I watched the news broadcast interviews from LT and Merriman during the NFC Championship post game show, and got a little more upset than I probably should've.

After watching the interview I was upset that it seemed as though LT and Merriman both were losing faith in being a Charger and wanted to move on to other teams. The closest connection I have to communicating with the players is through Twitter so I decided to tweet directly to Merriman.

"@shawnemerriman sounds like you don't want to be a Charger anymore... I'm a bit disappointed."

and the man actually replied, "@HannahKwak don't know where you get your info"

Hopefully this means that the News and media took his interview out of context. However, as a fan watching an interview of one of your favorite players on your favorite team sound like he doesn't want to be a part of that team is a bit disappointing.

Being a Charger fan is not an easy thing, and I'm sure that being an actual player on the Chargers is not the easiest thing either but as a fan I would want players that love to be a Charger as much as I love the Chargers. Maybe that's why I have such a deep respect for Kassim Osgood, he really loves being a Charger.

On the flip side, I can understand the want of a ring and when you see all these former Chargers move to different teams and get rings its probably very discouraging to get so close and never actually experience the win.

All in all I still love my Chargers and can't wait for the next season to start!

GO BOLTS!!!
